The open loop scanner can be offered for applications where the positioning accuracy and overshooting behaviour do not make the use of a feedback scanner financially viable. It belongs to the group of low cost scanners. The 040E finds its applications for mirror sizes up to approx. 12 x 12 x 1 mm. The 050E is recommended for applications with a mirror size up to approx. 25 x 35 x 2 mm.
